Technical Skills Training

MaJeKaL MISSION encourage individuals to hone their skills for self sufficiency.

We partnered with Caritas Manila for the beneficiaries' skills training on sewing, urban gardening, secretarial and accounting among others.

Bureau of Plant Industries is assisting us in providing skills development training in urban farming and sustainable living.

With your support, we also aim to provide urban farming training to teach our beneficiaries to produce their own food, free from chemically-laden vegetables and processed foods. They can also learn to cultivate healthy soil using organic fertilizer from kitchen waste. Additionally, we encourage micro-rabbitry for a protein source, as well as utilizing the waste along with African night crawler (ANC) worms, to generate vermicast fertilizer. Lastly, we emphasize the production of organic fertilizer from kitchen waste, while also promoting container gardening and waste segregation practices.
